More Tim football
Later today (Saturday) Tim will be playing in the "Pro Bowl" – the all star game for 8th graders in his league. Here he is in his last game, two weeks ago, on four consecutive plays. He's #56. I actually managed to edit and stitch together the plays. First, he kicks the extra points (in…

A new – and tiny – baby
Back in May, I posted a little bit on my college roommate Mike's son Matt's wedding to Kristen. A Riner Wedding Well in Mid-October at a gestational age of about 23 weeks, Kristen had a very premature delivery. Emma Elizabeth. And she was just baptized Sunday, the 7th. Amazing! Tim’s confirmation
Well Timothy Francis Faranda is now Timothy Francis Mark Faranda (he took the same confirmation name I took). He was confirmed by Cardinal Egan, who did a great job – really a wonderful homily. How much will Juan Williams get when he sues NPR?
My bet – millions. He certainly was not in violation of his contract. WSJ editorial this AM - NPR Finally Gets Its Man To fire someone because he said, even on television, that seeing passengers in Muslim garb on an airplane made him "nervous" would be preposterous. This is "bigotry"? Especially in that Mr. Williams…

Juan Williams and NPR
I almost never listen to NPR. But I have heard Juan Williams many times on FOX. He’s a reasonable and fair-minded Liberal. NPR firing him for the following comment is preposterous and just proves how uber-politically correct they are. Here’s what he said after being fired.
