Update on this morning’s health update.
Bummer. The cold, sinus whatever thing I mentioned this morning has sent me temperature up this evening. It’s 101.9 So I am off to Sloan "Urgent Care" in a few minutes, where they’ll run some tests, and hopefully send me home with antibiotics. The whole scenario is very similar to my trip to Urgent Care…

Health update
Got my bloodwork results from Friday, and the key numbers were exactly identical to the prior week – WBC at 1.6 and abs. Neut. at 0.7. So at least these seem to be the bottom numbers, since I now haven’t had the white blood cell booster neulasta in over six weeks. Dr. Klimek’s office –…

Joint health update – Tom and Tim!
I had my routine CBC done Friday, but won’t know the results until Monday, when I call Dr. Klimek’s office in NY. Had my CBC done again today, with continuing low results. In fact after they did the quick count in Sleepy Hollow, the nurse called Dr. Klimek, the hematologist, in NY for instructions. The testing done in Sleepy Hollow is not as accurate as the counts done later in the day at Sloan Kettering in Manhattan.…

Health Update
Saw the hematologist, Dr. Klimek, this morning at Sloan Kettering. My white cell count is still low – although possibly marginally better then it has been. The bone marrow biopsy from four weeks ago did show some abnormal cells – "displastic" is the term. So Dr. Klimek is more concerned now, then she had been,…
