The social justice warrior ‘Nuns on the Bus’ just got busted ! ! !

  2. Despite my deep admiration and gratitude for Sister Dede’s service to our nation and the disadvantaged, I find it unfortunate that she has been bamboozled by the Trump campaign to cheapen her respectable status by appearing at the convention to endorse the President. After all, this “pro-life” president was firmly “pro-choice” for most of his adult and embarrassingly public life. He only became a pro-life champion when he had his eyes on the White House.
A true pro-life president wouldn’t propose “taking out” the families of suspected terrorists. A true pro-life president would not have pushed to keep American passengers trapped at sea on a Covid-stricken cruise ship rather than bring them ashore because it would increase his “numbers” and make him look bad. A true pro-life president wouldn’t encourage some 1500 supporters to sit shoulder to shoulder, without masks on the White House lawn during this dangerous pandemic so they could cheer him. A true pro-life president would not have allowed 180,000 fellow Americans to die on his watch because he dismissed the seriousness of the threat and even ridiculed others who encouraged safe behavior. This president sees this disaster in only selfish political terms.
By the way, a true pro-life president also wouldn’t have presided proudly over the most federal executions since the Eisenhower administration.
Donald Trump doesn’t respect life, he only respects Donald Trump. Maybe it’s time for Sister Dede to reflect and take a little ride on The Bus.

I agree with lots of what you say. On the other hand saying he “allowed 180,000 fellow Americans to die on his watch” is more than a bit of a stretch. His opponent accused him of xenophobia and racism when he banned travelers from China on January 31st. The mayor and health commissioner of NY were encouraging people to go about and enjoy themselves – Chinese New Year as an example – right into mid-March. And plenty of Trump’s health advisors were not sure what actions to take early in the epidemic. In fact there’s still no unanimity on what actions to take going forward. So I think you may be a bit over the top in your disdain (shared by many!) for Trump.

  4. Thank you Tom. Sister Dede is simply amazing.

  5. Although Biden accused Trump in a tweet on February 1 of having a “record of hysteria, xenophobia, and fear-mongering,” He did not mention the travel ban on China. Also, there’s a big difference between minimizing the virus in mid-March and minimizing it in late August! There may not be unanimity on every action to take going forward, but there is unanimity in the medical and scientific community that people need to be distanced and if not possible, masks need to be worn to prevent the spread of the virus. How many of these cheering unmasked supporters on the South Lawn will spread the virus to loved ones or other contacts over the next weeks? How many more Americans will die from this irresponsible spectacle honoring our “Pro-Life President”?!

Who is NW 332? Why are you attacking President Trump’s prolife record based on a virus? The most vulnerable and ignored and murdered group of people in the world are innocent babies in the womb. Biden and Harris are super pro-killing these innocent children. They give no concessions at all to protecting them. Why change the subject and talk about a virus? How about a virus of the mind that liberals have that defend the murder of these innocent children who have committed no sin?

  7. Denial….deflection………derangement.

  8. ‘Sorry, no change of subject here. Pro-life means exactly that, pro-life. It doesn’t mean pro-only certain lives. 183,113 American lives lost to the virus. Much of this toll attributed to Trump’s…yes… denial, deflection and derangement.

So NW 332, would you admit you can’t be pro-life and for abortion? 70 million babies or more have been killed before they were born in America so far since Roe vs Wade. Virus numbers don’t compare. If you are murdered before you are born you can’t immigrate, vote, or go to school to fight viruses. So that’s why protecting the unborn comes first on the pro-life list and these children have no way to advocate for themselves and are the most vulnerable. The first and top pro-life priority even as stated by Pope Francis is to protect the unborn. Pope Francis described taking a life in abortion as equivalent to hiring a hit man. I would wager a spreading virus around the globe is clearly not the same thing as deliberately killing a baby in the womb before her or his birthday. Perhaps you should see the movies Unplanned or Gosnell to gain perspective as to why people want more attention brought to this topic and why the media continues to suppress the dignity of the unborn child. Watch the films and get back to me via Tom for a friendly discussion any time. Peace and Blessings.
