Great work by Brigid with local media and their March for Life coverage

March for life crowd 2018

You can find the story here:

March for Life – coverage on LoHud and Journal News

After giving no coverage – they didn't know about the March, it's only in it's 45th year – Brigid coordinated the effort to get quite substantial follow up coverage in the Journal News and on LoHud. And of the five women who did the Q & A she was the fifth. It was also her photo (of course they didn't have their own) that went onto the top of the print and online versions.

I strongly encourage hitting the link and reading what all five women had to say.

  1. Congratulations on getting that paper to actually cover something different….

  2. A very happy Feast Day today to Brigid Faranda on the occasion of the Feast Day of her patron saint, the Great Saint Brigid of Kildare. She died on this day in 525 A.D. and is the patron of dairy maids, cattle, midwives, Irish nuns, and newborn babies. She is also one of the patron saints of Ireland. Brigid – i.e. Brigid of Kildare, NOT Brigid Faranda of Croton, NY – was raised by the Druids in Ireland, and as a child actually heard St. Patrick himself preach.
