NY Times editorial explains how Little Sisters of the Poor don’t understand Catholic teaching

Nice of them to help the sisters out. The link below contains the text of the last line of their editorial, which also includes comments like "audacious' and "absurd."

Like the cases of the private employers, the suit by the nuns’ group boils down to an unjustified attempt by an employer to impose its religious views on workers.

Bizarro World. If the sisters don't pay for employees condoms, birth control pills, or abortion, etc, they are imposing their religious views.

  1. The NYT is right. The nun are attempting to impose its religious views on workers – specifically the views that the First Amendment allows freedom to exercise religion.
