Guest posting: our friend Laurie – view from Mt. Elmore

Actually just a guest picture, looking down on Lake Elmore. Of course the connection is, Farandaville is on Elmore Avenue. As you can probably tell from the leaves, Lake Elmore is well north of us – in fact in Laurie’s home state of Vermont.

The town of Elmore can no doubt be described as quaint. Population under 1,000.

And here’s our great friend Laurie on top of another mountain, July 31st, 2007.

For more from that wonderful trip over six years ago, here’s some of it. Some great shots in general, and obviously, Joe and Tim …

Our vacation: Or how to do Rogers Rock, Lake George, Fort Ticonderoga, Ausable Chasm, St. Albans, Back Inn Time, Lonesome Lake, Echo Lake, Franconia Notch, and Mt. Washington in seven days

  1. I hiked with the same jacket (didn’t need it that day (Oct 1, 2013)though) and backpack/purse! It was such a gorgeous day.

Laurie, maybe you should make another trip to the Salvation Army. HA! I crack myself up! (yet again).
