How we spent Labor Day weekend, Part 1

We had two big events: a beautiful wedding and a birthday party on another ends-in-zero birthday!

The wedding was Saturday, between Debra Anderson (of course the 2nd daughter of our great friends Judy and Bob) and Hugh McGrory.

They had a lovely sentiment printed on the back of their Nuptial Mass program –

To our Parents

We thank you for showing us the true meaning of family and devotion. The values and traditions that you have taught us will remain the cornerstone of our marriage.

On this most wonderful of occasions, we remember those who can be with us only in our hearts, our grandparents and all other family members who have passed before us. They are with us in spirit always.

To our Family and Friends

On this special day, as we begin our journey together, we would like to thank all of you for your love and friendship. Each of you has made our lives richer and more joyful.

Together we look forward to sharing many more happy occasions with those we hold close to our hearts, you, our friends and family.

With all our love,

Debra & Hugh

Very thoughtful and touching. A few pictures –

Our friends, Ed and Pat Riely –

OMG! It looks like I’m wearing a toupee! NOT!!

Brigid and Regina Riely in a deep discussion? Anyway, Regina is enjoying dessert – a person after my own heart.
