Tim new javelin PR; 145-7 to win sophomore intersectionals

UPDATE: Tim's statewide ranking (they don't do the event much upstate) – According to this, Tim is ranked #4 in sophomore class. Cool.

Good for Tim, who hadn't been throwing as well as he'd hoped recently. He really did well. First throw was 138', second 142', and then 145' 7". He broke his previous PR, from way back last May of 135'10". The last few meets Tim was very disappointed with his throws, But at Icahn Stadium (on Randall's Island, where Usain Bolt set the world's record in the 100m several years ago), against all the Catholic High Schools in NY metropolitan area, and Long Island, he came good.

Two brief videos, taken at my camera's maximum 8x power – the 142' throw (the slightly better vid of the two)

and the 145-7
