As I posted this morning, this is the second anniversary of the end of my 20 day stay at Sloan Kettering Tom Faranda’s Folly: Two years ago today, I was discharged after my 20 day Sloan Kettering stay. Coincidentally, I had my annual (or maybe more like 18 month!) physical with my internist, Dr. Al Sheehy.
Things were good – everything normal. Although at 162 lbs. I was eight pounds more then when I last saw him. BUT, I think some of it may be from lifting weights – the add-on is not all around my waist.
BP 115/75, cholesterol 168, PSA 0.4. We’ll take it.
At the end, Dr. Sheehy said, "well there’s nothing I can tell you" and I pointed out that was what he told me after the last exam.
He also said "God tried to get you, but he didn’t succeed, so you may be around awhile." Will take that, too.
