Author’s evening in Croton

Two writers had an evening yesterday. It was held at my Church, HNM.

The authors are a friend of mine, Maggie Barbieri, and a lady I don’t know very well, Cecilia Kochanowski.

Maggie’s book is the first of a projected series of entitled Murder 101. It’s published by St. Martin’s and just came out. I am going to read and review it shortly.

Cecilia’s book was self-published, and is titled Plumbersutra: the art of living in the suburbs.

About 70 people attended and I had a great time – good wine, good food, lots of good gab eminating from me.

Here’s Maggie doing her reading

The crowd loves it!

Here’s Cecilia up at bat

Maggie appreciates Cecilia’s humor

Lisa Gallagher and Kelly Thomann (my optometrist and a big runner – as well as a Fairfield alumnus) have a chat between readings
