So Brigid flew out yesterday. She will see her wonderful sister Libby who lives in an outer (50 miles) suburb of London – Milton Keynes – for four or five days. Then Brigid is going up to the capital of Scotland – Edinburgh. Brigid has some diaries of her Dad, going back almost 95 years. He writes about some camping trips and Brigid wants to find the sites! But she won’t be camping herself. Brigid will probably be successful since much of the areas where he camped are now forest and nature preserves.
Brigid’s departure – she was driven to JFK airport by “the kids”.
She texted me to say the flight was leaving three hours late (was supposed to leave at 6PM) and “we are packed in like sardines”. Not fun for six hours.
