I rarely post anything like this but on the very offhand recommendation of Joe we watched the eight part British Series "Broadchurch<\/a>". Actually only season one – there are two more for us to look forward to…<\/p>\n

Great story, great acting, great writing. One catch – it's on Netflix, so if you don't have Netflix, not sure where else you can see it. Each episode is 45 minutes so we watched two a night. Can't see how anyone who starts watching could not follow it all the way through. The two lead actors are David Tennant<\/a> and Olivia Colman<\/a> (who won Academy Award, Best Actress as Queen Anne in the 2018 movie The Favourite<\/a>). They are both fantastic, as is the whole ensemble cast. Slight spoiler – the killer is found at the end of season one (good luck figuring it out) so we are not sure where the next two seasons go – but are looking forward to them.<\/p>\n
