A great woman and good friend. Here is her story –<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Patricia Ann Vasta (Quinn) of Croton-on-Hudson, NY passed away peacefully in her home, May 8, at the age of 95. She was born on August 1, 1929 to the late Arthur and Rita Quinn (Rigney). Pat\u2019s faith was unwavering and was front and center of her every daily life. Even during her last days, she was filled with grace and gratitude.<\/p>\n

Pat was born in Tarrytown, NY and lived in Ossining and Tarrytown while growing up with her eight siblings and extended family. She loved to share her vivid memories of being a majorette with the Ossining VFW band and meeting a young fireman who was marching with his fire department. It was \u201clove at first sight\u201d and in 1951, she was married to Salvatore J. Vasta and together they were blessed with nine children. In addition to raising her family and supporting the family business, she was an integral part of the Holy Name of Mary community, serving as president of the altar rosary society, leading women\u2019s prayer groups, teaching religion for over 30 years, and was among the first women who would serve as Eucharistic ministers. She was an active member of Right to Life and the Respect Life Society.<\/p>\n

She is survived by her loving \u201cmighty Quinn\u201d sisters: Sylvia Olivo, Mary Campbell, Cathy Cornue, Rita DeMaria; her children: Patricia, Michael (Sharon), Joseph (Pennie), Frank (Renee), Salvatore, Anthony, Robert (Kathy), Thomas (Leslie), Sally Antunovich (Bob) and daughter-in-law Linda Vasta; fifteen grandchildren: Anthony (Laura), Kenneth (Elizabeth), Jill Jimerson (Brad), Robert (Jacque), Mary-Katherine (Taylor), Meredith (Charles), Benjamin (Taylor), Christopher (Corrine), Amanda (Luis), Madison (Jack), Mason, Nicholas, Ava, Ryan, and Lianna, as well as eight great grandchildren: Keegan, Makayla, Charlotte, Bobby, Avery, Matthew, Josephine, Millie and many nieces and nephews, who simply adored her. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Salvatore, her sister Joan Laluna, brothers Michael, Arthur, and Gerald Quinn, and granddaughter Rachel Antunovich.<\/p>\n

Pat\u2019s greatest gift was the gift of time. She always made time to make you feel welcome and her family table always had room for you, even if there wasn\u2019t. No matter the day, time or place, you were always welcomed with open arms.<\/p>\n

A visitation for Patricia will be held Friday, May 16, 2025 from 4-8 PM at Holy Name of Mary Church, 110 Grand St, Croton-on-Hudson, NY 10520. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11AM Saturday, May 17, 2025, 110 Grand St, Croton-on-Hudson, NY 10520. A burial following funeral mass, Saturday, May 17, 2025 at St. Augustine Cemetery, Hawkes Ave, Ossining, NY 10562.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
