Author Amy Chozick covered Hillary Clinton for almost ten years for the NY Times – the subtitle is Ten Years, Two Presidential Campaigns, and One Intact Glass Ceiling. While it is about Mrs. Clinton, it's also about Ms. Chozick and her life while following Clinton, especially on the 2016 primary and presidential campaign trails. Lots of anecdotes and info – one amusing theme – all the while she was flying around the country on the press plane or campaign plane following Clinton, she and her husband were trying to conceive a child. Well… she wasn't home very much. (Spoiler – they succeeded, but after the election).

Of course there were some interesting insights into the Clinton campaign. While it's clear Chozick admired Mrs. Clinton, she isn't afraid to write negatively about her and sometimes reflects on the tactical errors that probably killed her campaign against Trump. I very much enjoyed the book – I found it actually charming. And it is a pretty quick read. One warning – much of the "colorful" language in the text would put a marine drill sergeant to shame.

This is only the third political book of this type I've ever read – Man of the House by Tip O'Neill and What I Saw at the Revolution by Peggy Noonan are the others.
