Now 7-0-1 with their toughed out 21-19 win over Stony Brook. And Stony Brook had some big forwards. How big? Very big!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fairfield led 21-7 and then hung on. In fact the game might have been saved with five minutes left when the 90 lb freshman wing Caroline pulled off a tackle on Stony Brook&#8217;s 230 lb second row, who&#8217;d already scored two tries (No exaggeration, but alas no picture. The Stony Brook lady &amp; Caroline shown below.)! None of the conversions were easy; all midway between the posts and sideline. Kate has a beautiful, easy kicking style.
