Venezuela:<\/strong> President Trump said that the Venezuelan opposition leader Mar\u00eda Corina Machado<\/a> gave him her Nobel Peace Prize during their meeting at the White House on Thursday. Ms. Machado said she had made the presentation \u201cas a recognition for his unique commitment to our freedom.\u201d Mr. Trump said it was a \u201ca wonderful gesture\u201d for \u201cthe work I have done.\u201d Mr. Trump has openly coveted the prize, though the Nobel Committee has said the Peace Prize itself is not transferable, no matter who possesses the medal.
