These four young women were from Montana State University – quite a trip for them. They are staying over until Monday and since they are from Montana probably used to heavy snow (they better be!)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A shot down the hill – but it’s a different hill from Pennsylvania Avenue as the March route was moved last year and now goes up Independence Ave. – it crosses 3rd St. SW and makes a 90 degree turn to go up Independence. Which is why the line doesn’t seem as long. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dinner afterwards at the City Tap House next to the Westin Hotel; Brigid with Joan Andrews Bell. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since the end of Roe, the March is a bit smaller but nevertheless tens of thousands of mostly young people. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We usually stay an extra day and go home Sunday, but with the weather we cancelled Saturday stayover and drove home yesterday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
