At the time, I was religion editor for the <em>Washington Times<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">The documents he gave me were sensational. At first I thought it was about a priest who\u2019d been forced out of the priesthood because he\u2019d been caught fondling two teen-aged boys. Then I read <em>why<\/em> the priest had done this.
