President Trump\u2019s lengthy post on social media showed there were really no boundaries when it comes to people he might target, including the leader of the world\u2019s 1.4 billion Catholics.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

When he sent the post, the president was fresh off a weekend of attending a mixed martial arts fight in Miami<\/a> and spending time with supporters at his golf club after negotiations with Iran had failed<\/a>. He criticized Leo as \u201cweak on crime\u201d \u2014 an insult he usually reserves for Democratic mayors \u2014 and \u201cterrible for foreign policy.\u201d He said that he much preferred the pope\u2019s brother Louis<\/a> because of his support for the MAGA movement \u2014 \u201cHe gets it!\u201d Mr. Trump wrote. The president also accused the pope of \u201ccatering to the radical left\u201d and then offered a piece of advice, to \u201cfocus on being a Great Pope, not a Politician.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
