There are (of course) variations including some with ice cream. But the big variation is how much cream to put in. See the Farandaville recipe below the video. Quite good &#8211; and inexpensive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1 oz. creme de cacao. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1 oz. creme de menthe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1.5 oz heavy cream. Most recipes are either one ounce or two ounces cream but we agree with Cara above. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Shake with ice and pour. Can be garnished a number of ways &#8211; sprig of mint or little chocolate bits most popular. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Also it&#8217;s 100 calories per ounce of cream. Since the two liqueurs are each about 80 calories that&#8217;s about 310 calories per drink based on 1.5 oz&#8217;s. You could use half and half, but what fun is that?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here&#8217;s what a Grasshopper should look like, courtesy of Farandaville.
