Pope Leo XIV urged the Knights of Columbus to cultivate unity and charity amid a divided age, calling members to be \u201cprophets of harmony\u201d in a video address<\/u><\/a> to the order\u2019s 144th Supreme Convention in Denver, Colorado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Knights\u2019 144th Supreme Convention centered on the theme \u201cIn The One, We Are One,\u201d which the Holy Father connected to its foundational principles of unity and charity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Grounding his message in Christ\u2019s prayer at the Last Supper that His followers \u201cwould be one,\u201d Pope Leo emphasized that unity cannot be assumed but must be intentionally fostered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe preservation of unity is often not easy, and it cannot be taken for granted,\u201d the Pope said. \u201cIt must be actively cultivated through honest and humble dialogue.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIn an age all too often marked by division and pointed rhetoric,\u201d he said, \u201cthere is a great need for prophets of harmony who seek to build bridges and strive to reconcile opposing positions wherever possible.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Holy Father presented charitable service as a practical path toward that harmony. By helping those in need, he said, bonds can grow among those who give, receive, and serve together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cCharity becomes not only a response to human suffering\u201d Pope Leo said, \u201cbut also a powerful means of fostering fraternity and strengthening the communion that is at the heart of the Christian life.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
