Major banks closed accounts and restricted services for pro-life organizations and Christian groups after materials from the Biden administration labeling them \u201chate groups\u201d were circulated to financial institutions.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Biden admin was exposed in 2024<\/a> trying to debank pro-life, conservative and Christian groups and endorsed a list of \u201chate groups\u201d<\/a> that includes mainstream conservative Christian organizations like Alliance Defending Freedom and the Family Research Council.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Major banks closed accounts and refused credit to MAGA merchants, pro-life causes, religious groups, conservative organizations and sectors disfavored by the Biden administration, such as firearms, oil and gas, and private prisons,\u00a0a bombshell report from the federal banking regulator has found.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Debanking Review by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC)<\/a> investigated 100,000 complaints and scrutinized 50,000 internal bank records to reveal how customers were \u201cdebanked\u201d based purely on their political, social, or religious beliefs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America, Citibank, Wells Fargo,<\/a> U.S. Bank, Capital One, PNC, TD Bank, and BMO Bank were found to have discriminated against American consumers, citing \u201creputation risk\u201d as a reason to deny service between 2020 and 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although all nine banks told the OCC they had revised their practices, the regulator said the reforms have not gone far enough and that no bank had \u201cfully and publicly acknowledged\u201d its \u201cweaponization of finance against hardworking Americans.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
