This is from the <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Times_Union_(Albany)\">Times Union<\/a>, an Albany paper.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.timesunion.com\/news\/article\/People-moving-from-New-York-outnumber-arrivals-by-10832318.php\">United Van Lines reported Tuesday that nearly two-thirds of the moves involving New York households were outbound, a higher proportion than any other state except New Jersey and Illinois.<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">The 2016 National Movers Study by Fenton, Mo.- based United also found that almost 59 percent of the moves within the eastern United States were outbound.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Where were people moving? Mostly to western states and the Carolinas, with one exception.
