Oh, and it&#39;s now <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Fra_Angelico#Death_and_beatification\">Blessed Fra Angelico<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/tomfaranda.typepad.com\/.a\/6a00d834525a2f69e20115701500a3970b-pi\" style=\"display: inline;\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Resurrection Fra Angelica\" class=\"at-xid-6a00d834525a2f69e20115701500a3970b \" src=\"https:\/\/tomfaranda.typepad.com\/.a\/6a00d834525a2f69e20115701500a3970b-500wi\" \/><\/a>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>El Greco, 1577. One of my favorite painters, but what&#39;s with the Greek columns? Not one of his best &#8211;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/tomfaranda.typepad.com\/.a\/6a00d834525a2f69e201156f1e3407970c-pi\" style=\"display: inline;\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Resurrection El Greco 1577\" class=\"at-xid-6a00d834525a2f69e201156f1e3407970c \" src=\"https:\/\/tomfaranda.typepad.com\/.a\/6a00d834525a2f69e201156f1e3407970c-500wi\" \/><\/a>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>Now, skipping a few centuries (past Rubens, YUK, etc) to some contemporary renderings<\/p>\n<p>Arcabas (Jean Marie Pirot), 1998.&#0160;Life not death, and&#0160;a large painting.
