And got to love St. Anthony&#8217;s quote below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"MAS_MAS_N35_Saints_Name\"><strong>Saint Anthony&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <span class=\"GREP_IMBRIQUES_Mass_Saints_Memorial_N310\">Memorial<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"MAS_MAS_N25_Intro_Cameron\">Renowned as the father of monasticism, Anthony was one of the first to lead an austere life of prayer and fasting in the solitude of the desert. Anthony\u2019s biography, written by Saint Athanasius, became a classic text for western monasticism. Anthony\u2019s wisdom was collected into the sayings of the Desert Fathers.
