At a Harrison HS meet he uncorked two big throws &#8211; first 46&#39; 7&quot; to beat his best from the winter, by four inches. And then another throw of 47&#39; 5 &amp; 1\/2&quot;. He easily won the meet &#8211; no one else reached 40&#39;. It&#39;s surprising because the best he&#39;d thrown in meets this outdoor season is 43&#39; 5&quot;, and he has been concentrating on the javelin. BUT the day before (so he tells me) he had a good session throwing the 16 lb. shot &#8211; the high school competition shot is &quot;only&quot; 12 lb.<\/p>\n<p>This gets Tim up to #25 in the state, at least for the moment.
