But this is a new PR (personal record) on Tim&#39;s quest to go over 175&#39; before finishing high school. He&#39;s unlikely to finish the season as #1 in the state &#8211; a current senior from Massapequa went 206&#39; last year! &#8211; but should certainly finish in the top 5 &#8211; possibly as high as #3.<\/p>\n<p>The throws coach from Cardinal Hayes (who is excellent) we know from his time teaching at Fordham Prep. He spoke with Tim about his footwork, which is mediocre and needs a lot of work. When he gets that down (hopefully this year) his throws could really zoom &#8211; his upper body strength is off the scale for a javelin thrower.<\/p>\n<p>Tim also had a respectable shot put of 42&#39;5&quot;. Not a PR but pretty good since he hasn&#39;t thrown since the winter season.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#39;s the javelin throw.
