Sometimes negative news does come<br \/>\nout, but it is often exaggerated and manipulated to spread scandal.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">\u201c<strong>Journalists sometimes risk becoming ill from coprophilia and thus fomenting coprophagia<\/strong>: which is a sin that taints all men and women, that is, the tendency to focus on the negative rather than the positive aspects.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">\u201cThe Roman Curia has its down sides, but I<br \/>\nthink that too much emphasis is placed on its negative aspects and not<br \/>\nenough on the holiness of the numerous consecrated and lay people who<br \/>\nwork in it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">If you are unfamilier with the words &quot;coprophilia&quot; and &quot;coprophagia&quot;, here are definitions from Merriam Webster:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\"><strong>COPROPHILIA<\/strong> : <em>marked interest in excrement; especially : the use of feces or filth for sexual excitement<\/em> \u2014 cop\u00b7ro\u00b7phil\u00b7i\u00b7ac &#8211; noun<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\"><strong>COPROPHAGOUS<\/strong> : <em>feeding on dung<\/em> \u2014 co\u00b7proph\u00b7a\u00b7gy &#8211; noun<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">So basically, Pope Francis is saying that journalists who talk s&#8212;<br \/>\nabout the Catholic Church&#39;s bureaucracy run the risk of eating s&#8212;.
