My brand new phone decided to malfunction &#8211; it suddely heated up and then the battery ran down. I felt I needed to see if I could get it fixed\/get a replacement one, and spent a good deal of time at a Verizon store (I need to stay in touch &#8211; you know, business&#8230;). Did get it fixed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So here&#8217;s a few pictures (taken by the phone&#8217;s camera) of the crowd and flatbed truck, where all the action and readings start &#8211; there were 400-450 people (less then in past years, but a younger crowd, which is great).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a class=\"asset-img-link\" href=\"http:\/\/tomfaranda.typepad.com\/.a\/6a00d834525a2f69e2016764bed481970b-pi\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/tomfaranda.typepad.com\/.a\/6a00d834525a2f69e2016764bed481970b-450wi\" alt=\"0406121205\" title=\"0406121205\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a class=\"asset-img-link\" href=\"http:\/\/tomfaranda.typepad.com\/.a\/6a00d834525a2f69e2016303ca21df970d-pi\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/tomfaranda.typepad.com\/.a\/6a00d834525a2f69e2016303ca21df970d-500wi\" alt=\"0406121205a\" title=\"0406121205a\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And then the <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Four_Horsemen_of_the_Apocalypse\" target=\"_self\">Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse<\/a>. The two nice horsemen on the left, Regina and Jeanne Marie, and the two ready-to-kick-butt horsemen, Mary and Tom.
