My birthday is two days after Joe&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/tomfaranda.typepad.com\/folly\/2007\/07\/joes-14th-birth.html\"><strong>Tom Faranda&#8217;s Folly: Joe&#8217;s 14th birthday today!<\/strong><\/a>, as I turn 49 again. (Ithink it&#8217;s always important to subtract seven years.) Last night Brigid and the boys gave me a &#8220;tomtom&#8221; GPS directional thing. It goes in your car and after you program in your destination, it tells you how to get there. Will come in handy on upcoming vacation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here I am with a goofy smile holding the tomtom box with Tim, and then Tim on his own, sporting his new mohawk haircut. In the past, Tim has occasionally gotten a &#8220;subtle mohawk&#8221;, but there&#8217;s nothing subtle about this one.
