Had my CBC today, and the pattern remains the same. My overall white count is 2.0 (down from 2.5), and the key abs. neut. # is 0.9 (down from a low normal of 1.8). So really no change in my general trend – I get a shot of neulasta (last one 23 days ago) and my white counts rise, and then sink down to below normal three to four weeks later. I see the hematologist Dr. Klimek in two weeks. <\/p>\n
My infection and cough have almost completely cleared up after my trip to Sloan Urgent Care with a fever last Saturday. I suppose the zithromax antibiotic is doing it’s job, and I’ve discovered claritin, which really helps with the itchy throat. Seems better then benadryl.<\/p>\n
