I think this is about the longest I&#8217;ve gone since November without an infection or antibiotics, so hopefully that issue is past tense for awhile. I started getting serious about doing this saline-squirted-up-both-nostrils thingie a few weeks ago (sounds a bit gross &#8211; and it is) and I think that helps my sinuses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As far as Tim, he had a hard cast put on his ankle Friday, exactly a week after he broke his fibula.<a href=\"http:\/\/tomfaranda.typepad.com\/folly\/2007\/03\/tims_first_spor.html\">Tom Faranda&#8217;s Folly: Tim&#8217;s first sports injury<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He&#8217;ll have it on for about four weeks, and then probably go back to the aircast for a little while. The orthopedist, Dr. Purcell, says everything looks fine and expects him to make a perfect recovery. I&#8217;m sure Tim will enjoy the temporary stardom that comes with having a cast and crutches in grammar school.
