Last week I saw Dr. Zeitlin, the ENT physician treating my sinusitis, and again had a complete blood count (CBC) at MSK in Sleepy Hollow.<\/p>\n
My sinus infection feels much better, but I still have a drip. Dr. Z confirmed this when she stuck that little flexible tube up my nose and had a look-see. So she took another culture and put me back on the augmentin atinbiotic, that I had just finished a 14 day course on. She will call me in a few days with the culture results. <\/p>\n
While I have the nasal drip, I really feel pretty good, and my gym workouts are going well.<\/p>\n
As far as my blood count, the WBC was 4.3 (a low normal) and the Absolute neutrophils (sp?) was 3.4, which is a low to mid normal. My last shot of neulasta was on 2\/8, and the blood results were from 2\/24, so the test I had on Friday (3\/2) will be very interesting. That was 23 days after the neulasta shot, and hopefully my counts wont sink much from the 2\/24 counts. I will call tomorrow and try to get the results.<\/p>\n
