Boy do I feel rotten. Not lymphoma, just a continuation of my sinusitis\/upper respiratory infection. I am back on antibiotics for the fourth time since November. I finished a course of aungmentin xr last Wednesday, the day before my double doctor visit to Sloan Kettering. And I felt pretty good – until Sunday night into Monday. Then it was coughing, coughing, coughing. I spoke with the ENT doc, Jill Zeitlin, on Monday and she put me on a 14 day repeat course of augmentin xr. <\/p>\n
I suggested that perhaps I was having allergy issues, or needed to see a pulmonary doctor. She said that it wouldn’t likely be allergies since I’d had a good response to the augmention, and allergies don’t respond to antibiotics (something that I should have realized!). So she will see me at the end of the augmentin course.<\/p>\n
Anyway, I am pretty zonked out and the fact that tomorrow is a snow day is probably good – I will postpone my Wednesday evening appointment in Weston CT, until Friday. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
