It wasn’t pretty. Shut out for 20 innings, spread over 3 games. The Tiger pitching came up aces at the right time. So much for the Tiger manager Jim Leyland saying the Yankee lineup was "Murderer’s row, and then Cano." It’s a cliche, but true, pitching wins short series.<\/p>\n
