I should have only another week plus a few days of limited activites and diet restrictions, but I will probably ease very gradually back to normal activites and diet, considering my recent bacterial chest infection and yeast infection.

I believe both infections are now past tense. Temperature is normal, no chills, and most importantly, I feel fine. In fact I am eating like a pig after a week with no appetite – everything from homemade potato leak soup to Rose’s chocolates (that’s an English chocolatier).

I will be on the Nustatin anti-yeast medication for another seven days. Also, my fitness is awful. I went for 22 minute walks the last two days. When I finally get back to the gym, it’s going to be a chore getting my cardio back to a decent level. Tomorrow (Sunday) I’ll use the dumbbells in the basement for the first time since March 4th, and I’m sure the results won’t be pretty.

But I suppose, so what if it takes some time? It’s not like I’m in training for a 10K race or to play rugby again.

Last note – hair is definitely coming back. Especially noticeable on my eyebrows, and on my head you can now just make out my hairline pattern and hair color. Don’t think it will show up in a picture, but I may post one tomorrow anyway.

I got out seven weeks ago.
