Much of the day I had flu-like symptoms – muscle aches, tiredness (not like chemo fatigue), and when I finally took my temperature in mid-afternoon it was a bit elevated – 99.8. Since my normal temperature is mid 98’s there was something afoot. Since you are supposed to call the Docs if your temperature hits 100.5, I had visions of that happening and then being told "Come down and see us, ASAP."

Luckily the temp never went higher than that, and started down late in the evening. By this morning I felt perfetly fine and my temp was 98.4. So I think I may have gotten a transient virus (from my kids?) which quickly disappeared.

Today I feel good – the best since I was discharged. Much less chemo fatigue and apetite a bit better. Definitely going in the right direction.

At the moment I am not allowed to shovel snow (comes under the definition of the forbidden "heavy lifting"). When Brigid went out to do it, two of our neighbors, Cory and Howard, displayed a perfect sense of timing by showing up and clearing everything, with the aid of Howard’s snowblower. Thank you Cory and Howard!

Besides getting a foot and a half of snow in my yard, yesterday was a funny day.
