I also spent about 90 minutes at my office today. I am pretty chemo-fatigued \u2013 although Brigid (bless her soul) says I don\u2019t look too bad.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\"><span face=\"Times New Roman\"> <\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\"><span face=\"Times New Roman\">In hindsight, the experience with the morphine was pretty strange, as I think I mentioned a few days ago. Even though I had a very low dose, I definitely had some mental effects, mostly tied into strange daydreams in the hospital, when I was napping. I have no recollection of dreams at night; perhaps because of the Ambien (5-mg. dose) I took most nights. I have spoken to two other people, who also related odd experiences on morphine.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\"><span face=\"Times New Roman\"> <\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\"><span face=\"Times New Roman\">Also in hindsight and as previously related, the IV attachment for 19 days \u2013 having to stay within three to four feet of the mobile IV pole \u2013 that was weird. On at least three occasions since I\u2019ve been home, I\u2019ve gotten up and said to myself \u201cOpps careful of your IV.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\"><span face=\"Times New Roman\"> <\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"FONT-SIZE: 12pt; FONT-FAMILY: &quot;Times New Roman&quot;; mso-fareast-font-family: &quot;Times New Roman&quot;; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA\">My weight loss for the stay was 10 pounds \u2013 I left the hospital at 151 lbs.
