I spent more than a few days working through my resolutions and besides the obvious ones (be nicer to the wife, etc), one kept coming back to the front of my thoughts.<\/p>\n

I need to work with Tim to get him to really enjoy reading. He’s a good reader, but he doesn’t enjoy it. Joe really took off as a reader in the third grade and now you can’t get his nose out of a book.<\/p>\n

Not sure what to do on this. Today Tim chose a book on Jim Abbott (the one handed pitcher who was in the major leagues for a number of years) for his pending book report (it had to be a biography) and I’m thinking that books about sports and sports personalities may be the ticket.<\/p>\n
