I got home this evening at about 6 o’clock. The RICE infusion went well – without a hitch. But it was a bit weird to have a running IV from 4:30 on Saturday to 4:30 on Monday. And most of that time with medicine being infused. Beside getting chemo Saturday into the evening, I was getting chemo from Sunday morning at 11, until almost literally before I left (didn’t waste any time getting out of there!). Brigid picked me up and we got out of Dodge pretty quickly, with a smooth ride back to Croton.<\/p>\n
