Whether they were ordained or merely helpers to bishops was \u201cnot an irrelevant issue because holy orders are reserved for men,\u201d Francis said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">*****************<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Questioned as to whether the implementation of female ordinands would perhaps bolster Church attendance, Francis said he disagreed.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">\u201cI do not share these arguments.
