Dolan of New York, following a deadly mass shooting in that city that claimed four lives, including that of a New York City police officer.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a class=\"asset-img-link\" href=\"https:\/\/tomfaranda.typepad.com\/.a\/6a00d834525a2f69e202e86106dfce200d-pi\" style=\"display: inline;\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Didarul\" class=\"asset  asset-image at-xid-6a00d834525a2f69e202e86106dfce200d img-responsive\" src=\"https:\/\/tomfaranda.typepad.com\/.a\/6a00d834525a2f69e202e86106dfce200d-300wi\" style=\"width: 300px;\" title=\"Didarul\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are heartbroken by the loss of life,\u201d said Cardinal Dolan in a statement to OSV News. \u201cThe victims, those who were injured, and their families are in our prayers. Our love and concern go especially to the families of those killed and to our beloved NYPD community.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>**********************<\/p>\n<p>On July 29, Adams said that authorities \u201chave reason to believe that he (Tamura) was focused on the NFL,\u201d citing the gunman\u2019s three-page note alleging he had chronic traumatic encephalopathy, or CTE, a degenerative neurological disease believed to be caused by repeated injuries to the head.
