Fun! Treasury Secretary Bessent v. Democrats Wyden and Sanders
In another Senate hearing allowing senators to bloviate for their constituents. Sanders hardly let’s Bessent get a word in as he as he attacks estate tax exemptions. Does he realize raising the estate tax enrichs life insurance companies? Isn’t that another industry he hates? To his credit, Wyden at least lets Bessent respond.
