75 years ago Hiroshima: the August 8th remembrance

This is the interfaith remembrance I had sent around – calling for the abolition of nuclear weapons. It's a one hour presentation which I tuned to when it was live. The facilitator is Rev. John Dear a Catholic priest and former Jesuit. The keynote speaker is Dr. Ira Helfand (a medical doctor), one of the leaders of ICANW, the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons, winner of the Nobel Peace Prize. He gave an excellent presentation. It was seen live by about 700 people and since then the # of viewers is just over 1300. A minuscule fraction of the American population. Too bad. It does explain why no politicians of either party care about this issue.
