Brigid just showed me this vid, which she took January 6, 2018. Pretty good – she took it with her iphone – the hawk is on tree branch on the main beach in Croton Point. Was near to her(?) nest which has been the same nest on the beach.

Yes, Mr. or Mrs squirrel. It was probably lunch.

Interesting. I notice that the bird was engaging in outdoor dining even then, tho this was long before the restaurants closed down due to the Fake and Phony CoronaCold ‘Pandemic’.
