Finally ate at Croton’s 105-twenty

105-twenty

The Restaurant on Grand St. that replaced Tangine’s and is pretty popular. I think it’s been open about nine months; maybe longer. Here is a review in Westchester Magazine from this past February.  105-Twenty Brings a Cool New Vibe to Croton-on-Hudson . One thing I’d heard from several people is that it is noisy. It is, BUT we ate on the back porch which was very nice and quiet.

I thought the food was quite good. We split a Filet Mignon taco as an appetizer and Brigid had some sort of cheese and lobster sandwich on thick bread while I had the house burger. We each had a drink – Brigid a souped up Old Fashioned and I a Captain Lawrence Octoberfest beer (which I wouldn’t have again, but the Old Fashioned was nice)  and the total bill was $75 before tip.

We will definitely go back and ask to be seated on the porch.

Note Old Fashioned in the foreground …
