Croton’s “The Dessertist” gets a feather in her cap

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE DESSERTIST! Food Network is celebrating its 25th Birthday and they are hosting a party during NYCWFF–and The Dessertist–a.k.a. Samantha–has been asked to make and present the birthday cake.

Samantha will be making a one-of-a-kind design that she will personally present to a crowd of over 3,000 people along side Bobby Flay, Giada DeLaurentis, Alton Brown and Ina Garten.

The Party is this weekend. Here’s a birthday cake for Brigid that Samantha made for us last December. That’s a picture of Joe and Tim in April, 2005. Tasted even better than it looks!
