I already posted here about Tim’s school winning their Conference Championship. The two throwers on the men’s team are Tim – who is good – but Rickssen is REALLY good. Like ranked #7 in the state among college shot throwers. Here are a couple pictures and then videos of both Tim and Rickssen.
A couple of Tim pictures from the Conference Championship – he finished in the top one-third among NY State college shot putters. Which I think (note bias) is pretty good since his best event is the javelin, and he’s coming off October hernia surgery.
Of course indoor throwing events are almost always done inside a cage and off to the side of the main track. Note funny tights Tim is wearing – not sure what that’s about.
Here is Tim’s best throw – 12.63 meters, or 41’5″. This got him 6th place.
