I had already posted about this here A Record at Harvard: 85 enter Catholic Church . there were 45 students; the rest had some connection with the school.
Here’s the brief interview.

It was very inspirational to me to hear about the number of college kids who are looking for faith in their lives and wanting to learn about Catholicism. Fr. Sanders pointed to the important word “meaning” in their lives as the main reason. And he also mentioned the beauty that is found in the liturgy, famous art work, lives of the saints and music that attracts a person thinking about joining a catholic church. We know the beauty upon walking in and I, for one, often take it for granted. Listening to this makes me want to sit up and take notice more when I go to a new church and even when I’m in my own place of worship every week. We are surrounded by incredible statues, paintings and other reminders of how beautiful our churches are.
The video does not really talk about or mention how many young people have left the faith. Most studies indicate that Catholicism(globally) is losing more members than it is gaining. I guess the good news for Catholicism is that the downturn is leveling.
Good point Steven. Worldwide the drop off is most evident in South America where evangelical movements have blossomed.
The studies I’ve seen indicate the Catholic Church is globally slowly growing – mostly in Africa.
