Great Lenten read: The Pope’s recent book

Name of god is mercy

It's wonderful. I just finished it a second time. Short, straightforward, uncomplicated. It takes only a bit over an hour to read. Best to break it up into smaller sections over 4 -6 days.  It also comes with the original letter Pope Francis wrote announcing the year of mercy. Takes another half hour to read that.

Here is a link to the kindle version.

Of course that can also get you to the print version. Plenty of online reviews – you really have to shake your head over the 4% of one star (the lowest rating) reviews.

I understand he’s got a new book coming out called ‘Two More Forgotten Greats: Joe Mengele & Margaret Sanger.’ Should prove a great Easter read, albeit better perused in chopped pieces, like the kids hacked by Mengele & that other forgotten great Jorge recently extolled.

Not sure about the rumor he’s also writing some porn, tho it would hardly surprise – & expect the coming Synod exhortation will doubtless suffice in that regard.
